How to Apply for Public Housing

Effective Monday December 13th, 2010
Sanford Housing Authority will begin accepting public housing applications for all bedroom sizes. Applications will not be accepted after 4 pm. Applications will not be accepted with insufficient documentation- no copies of birth certificates or Social Security cards, only originals or certified copies.  Applications will only be accepted at our main office located at 1000 Carthage St.

Application Instructions:

1. Come by our main office at 1000 Carthage St. to pick up an application.
2. Bring Completed Application and all required forms/identification back to the main office.
3. Your application will be processed and a Property Manager will contact you.
